Avalanna Routh was struggling with a rare cancer whose dream was to meet Justin Bieber.

Avalanna had wished to meet Bieber in person, when Justin found out about her request, he flew the little girl and her family from Boston to New York for a special Valentine's visit. The pair spent the afternoon playing board games, eating cupcakes, signing autographs for each other before deciding they would get 'married'. Avalanna was even allowed to style Bieber's famous hair.^[1] Justin invited her over to The Today Show where he said in an interview they talked through iChat and FaceTime all the time. During the first Believe Tour concert "One Less Lonely Girl" was dedicated to her. They took a bunch of pictures of Avalanna and Justin and put them into a huge montage. Justin walked to the top and he stared and sang to the screen.
