"Justin Bieber:Never Say Never" is a 3D American documentary-concert film starring and based on Candian singer, Justin Bieber. The film was released on February 11, 2011 and was released by Insurge Pictures, MTV Films, Scooter Braun Films, L.A. Reid Media and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film was directed by Jon M. Chu.

The trailer premiered at the My World Tour on October 25, 2010 in Los Angeles and was then shown before the Megamind movie starting November 5.

Plot[]

The film follows the international pop star, Justin Bieber during the 10 days from his biggest performance at Madison Square Garden which sold out in 22 minutes. It also shows footage of the performance during this period from the My World Tour. The film also tells how Bieber was discovered by Scooter Braun and Usher from his videos on YouTube. Also includes old stories and videos of Bieber's childhood.

Director's fan cut[]

The director's fan cut was released for an exclusive one-week run beginning Friday February 25, 2011 in 3D theaters across the U.S. and Canada. Director Jon M. Chu and the studio began to develop an idea for a second, and more fan-centric, edition of the movie, while the first one was being made. "I realized I had an embarrassment of riches when I was I in the cutting room," said Chu in a release.[1]

The film's Budget was $13 million.On Box office It topped the Friday box office by an estimated grossing of $12.4 million on its opening day from 3,105 theaters.It grossed $29,514,054 for the weekend,and was narrowly beaten by the romantic comedy Just Go With It, which grossed $31 million. Never Say Never is said to have exceeded industry expectations, nearly matching the $31.1 million grossed by Miley Cyrus's 2008 3-D concert film, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, which holds the record for the top debut for a music-documentary.Furthermore, it grossed higher first weekend totals than the 2009 concert film, Michael Jackson's This Is It, and at least two-times more than fellow teen act Jonas Brothers' 2009 3D concert film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,which it made more in two days than the Jonas Brothers concert did in its entire run. Its total worldwide sales reached $98,441,954.In the United States, it is the highest grossing music concert movie since 1984 and the third-highest grossing documentary since 1982.

A sequel titled "Justin Bieber's Believe" which is also the title of Justin's third studio album was released on December 25, 2013. The film revealed more of Bieber's life story.
