Kidrauhl was Justin Bieber's original YouTube channel. This was the YouTube channel he posted videos before he was famous and is still used today. He came up with this name because his father called himself 'lordrauhl'. Jeremy loves to read a series of books with the main character being 'Lord Rahl'.[1] On August 18, 2017 Kidrauhl was renamed to Justin Bieber.

In early 2007, aged 12, Justin sang Ne-Yo's "So Sick" for Stratford Star. Pattie posted a video of the performance on YouTube for their family and friends to see. She continued to upload videos of Justin singing covers of various R&B songs, and Bieber's popularity on the site grew.

Manager Scooter Braun helped with the later videos and said his protege's no-budget YouTube videos allowed fans to feel like they discovered Bieber on their own. He wasn't being sold to them.[2]
