“The Most” is the original version of "Where Are Ü Now". Justin decided to send it to Skrillex and Diplo, also known as Jack Ü. Poo Bear premiered the track on Dash Radio on June 10, 2015.[2] A remastered version is only available on the Japanese, the Fan Box and the Walmart edition of Purpose.
Background[]
On Aug. 12, 2014, at 3:55 AM, Poo Bear jotted down four words: “Where are you now.”. He had the idea from the show on VH1, 'Where are they now?'. Poo Bear played it for Justin in Colorado when they went to Dave Chappelle's birthday party.[3] He said "This is so special!", and they cut it and finished it in New York.[4][5] Justin Bieber recorded the track as a stripped piano ballad.[6][7][6] It was just done with piano chords, Poo Bear and Justin loved it at that time.[8]
