Transcript[]

Kim Cooper: Vervegirl and B-ZONE is here with Justin Bieber and we're talking about his new album "My World".

Justin Bieber: Hi guys, how are you?

Kim Cooper: We're so excited to have you.

Justin Bieber: Thank you.

Kim Cooper: And a lot of the Vervegirls are talking about you online. They love your new video. Um but first of all we wanted to talk a little bit about how you were discovered.

Justin Bieber: Okay um, I basically got discovered, I was in a singing competition like 3 years ago. I was about 12 and I entered a singing competition just for fun and I put the videos on YouTube for like friends and family to see and it just got blown up. It started getting millions of views and so I kept posting more videos and more videos and then I got discovered by my manager Scooter Braun, he flew me out to Atlanta where I live now and so he flew me out to Atlanta where I got, I went to the studio to meet with some executives and stuff and Usher actually rolled up in his Rolls-Royce and we meet and "oh my goodness is that Usher" so I ran up to him and I was like "Usher, Usher I love your songs, you want me to sing you one" and like he's Usher so he gets like thousands of people come up to him every day and it's like "oh can I sing for you guys, can I sing for you" so he gets it all the time. So he was just like "come in little buddy, I'm kinda late for a session, it's cold outside" So we go inside and I didn't end up getting to sing for him but he actually knew my manager so my manager after that got to talk to him and Usher watched my videos and he's like "dang what did I just let go" So he ended up flying me back to Atlanta where I got to meet him and then a week later I had a meeting with Justin Timberlake who also wanted to sign me so it was like a bidding war between Justin Timberlake and Usher.

Kim Cooper: What is it like filming "One Time". What was it like filming that video?

Justin Bieber: It was really, really, really, really, really fun like we started early in the morning. Me and Ryan, he's actually in the video. He's the one playing video games in the beginning. So it was a really a fun day. We got to hang out, there's a lot of girls on the set.

Kim Cooper: [laughs]

Justin Bieber: Um, it was just a fun time. When we were in LA the weather was a little bit cold and there was a pool scene where the people had to jump in the pool and it was so freezing. I don't know how they did it. But yeah.

Kim Cooper: And so what, what do you do to relax? What do you do for fun?

Justin Bieber: Uh, fun. Uh, I just hang out, be a regular kid, do sports do like, when I'm relaxing I just like to sit down and play Xbox or (?). Just hang out but when I'm with my friends I like to go to the movies and like just be like a regular kid. That's what I basically… I am a regular kid.

Kim Cooper: Yeah and do you have a favorite movie?

Justin Bieber: My favorite movie, well I like all the Rocky's, all the Rocky movies are cool.

Kim Cooper: Me too.

Justin Bieber: Those are awesome. What's your favorite Rocky movie?

Kim Cooper: I actually like the last one. (?). I like the training (?).

Justin Bieber: You like that one?

Kim Cooper: The last one? Yeah.

Justin Bieber: I like the one with the…

Kim Cooper: The Russian guy?

Justin Bieber: The Russian, yeah.

Kim Cooper: The Russian guy (?).

Justin Bieber: Yeah, that's my favorite.

Kim Cooper: Why do you like the Rocky movies?

Justin Bieber: I don't know, I just watched those since I was little and I just liked them. (?) really cool.
