The story is simliar to the concept of Beauty and a Beat where Justin Bieber made it look like his laptop got stolen but now it involved a car.
A masked guy uploaded a video on YouTube where he was talking in rhyme, saying he stole will.i.am's car. will.i.am then tweeted about this video mentioning Justin Bieber and Ryan Friedlinghaus, the co-founder of West Coast Customs who makes most of his cars, if this was some kind of joke.[1] The masked guy made another YouTube video saying he found a backpack full of gadgets and CD's in the car.[2] The next month they leaked “You and Me” featuring Justin Bieber.[3]
Lyrical interpretation[]
will.i.am mentions he wrote a song for Mars. NASA confirmed during the Mars Science Laboratory launch tweet-up on November 24, 2011 that it partnered with will.i.am to deliver a song for Curiosity's landing.[4]
